Data Engineer

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled data engineer to join our team. This individual will serve as the technical point of contact for customers, providing expert guidance and support.The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex technical issues under pressure. They will be comfortable working across diverse teams and be able to communicate effectively with both technical experts and non-technical stakeholders.This role requires a customer-first mindset, with a passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies.Main Responsibilities:Implement and support AI solutions for post-sale customer successCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver complex customer use casesMentor junior engineers on best practices and technical expertiseDesign and configure workflows based on client business needs using SQL, Python, and cloud infrastructureBuilddata models that support personalization, lookalike modeling, and omnichannel activationSet up ETL pipelines across disparate sources and create unified customer viewsConfigure product features and external data connections (APIs, S3, etc.)Produce detailed technical documentationIdentify and resolve blockers to ensure project timelines are metRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or Information Management6+ years of experience in customer-facing data engineering, with proficiency in SQL, scripting, and cloud-based systemsStrong understanding of RESTful APIs, including usage through Postman or cURLExperience setting up ETL processes and integrating disparate data sourcesWorking knowledge of data modeling and customer data infrastructure (CDP, CRM, DMP, etc.)Experience with APIs and basic familiarity with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift), and deployment best practicesAbility to explain complex technical problems to both technical experts and non-technical stakeholdersProficiency in typical SDLC methodologies; hands-on experience in Agile development and proficiency in tools like Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, etc.Benefits:Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and innovative projectsChance to grow professionally and develop new skillsCompetitive compensation packageOngoing training and education opportunitiesOthers:Collaborative and dynamic work environmentFlexible work arrangementsRecognition and rewards for outstanding performance
