Job Title: Cloud Data EngineerWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Data Engineer to join our team.This is an excellent opportunity for a data professional to leverage their expertise in cloud-based technologies, specifically GCP, to drive business growth and innovation. As a Cloud Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient cloud-based data systems, pipelines, and architectures.To be successful in this role, you must have strong technical skills in areas such as:Data Engineering and Architecture: 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing large-scale data processing systems, data warehousing, ETL, ELT, data integration, and data governance.GCP Services: Proven experience with GCP services including BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Storage Classes, and Pyspark/Python.Scripting and Programming: Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, with experience in using libraries such as PySpark, Apache Beam, or Google Cloud SDK.Cloud Security and Compliance: Understanding of cloud security best practices, compliance requirements, and risk management principles.Team Collaboration and Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, engineers, and stakeholders.Flexible working arrangements available, with immediate start possible.30 days paid annual leave, plus bank holidays and other benefits.
