Job Title:Bakery Operations ManagerDescription:The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation and control of the bakery shop, ensuring that all production is carried out according to company standards.Ensuring the efficient use of equipment and resources to minimize waste and optimize production.Responsible for the production, quality, and presentation of the bread assortment to meet daily menu requirements.Assisting in the preparation of production forecasts and recording leftovers to ensure minimal wastage.Assisting in the set-up of the bread display in various buffets. Ensuring adherence to United States Public Health rules and regulations at all times.Leading the cleaning of the bakery shop according to Executive Chef's schedule, adopting best practices to prevent equipment damage.Preparing the bakery for announced or unannounced USPH inspections by ship management or inspectors.Requisitioning and transporting necessary items from main stores to the bakery shop as assigned.Maintaining recipes and yields in accordance with company standards.Assisting CDP Baker with completion of daily consumption re-cap as required by Executive Chef.Providing assistance to guests and crew members with inquiries and maintaining awareness of ship operations.Attending meetings, training activities, courses, and other work-related activities as required.Requirements:A minimum of three years' experience as a baker in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship, or convention banqueting service, preferably shipboard.Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, requirements, and equipment usage.Completion of high school or basic education equivalency required.Why You're Right For This Role:This role is ideal for experienced bakers seeking a challenging opportunity to lead a team and drive bakery operations excellence.What We Offer:We offer a dynamic work environment, opportunities for career growth, and a competitive compensation package.
