Senior Backend Software Engineer

Job OverviewWe are a leading provider of cutting-edge drone technology solutions. Our team is seeking an experienced Backend Developer to work on the development of our microservices-based application.The application's backend has been designed with a microservices architecture to handle user authentication, process core business logic, and interact with a database for data storage and retrieval.These services are containerized and orchestrated using Kubernetes.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain scalable backend microservices using Golang.Design and implement RESTful APIs with schema validation and structured logging.Integrate Amazon Cognito for user authentication and secure token validation.Work with PostgreSQL databases, ensuring data consistency and integrity.Containerize microservices with Docker and deploy them via Kubernetes.Set up and manage EKS clusters, leveraging AWS services for infrastructure management.Optimize backend systems for performance, scalability, and security.Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across the stack.Required Skills:Golang expertise with hands-on experience in building scalable applications.Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization techniques.Experience with Amazon Cognito and AWS services for authentication and authorization.Strong understanding of database design principles and implementation.Knowledge of security best practices and threat modeling.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
