As a Manager Indirect Taxes Consultancy, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients on a wide range of indirect tax matters. This includes compliance support, advisory services, litigation management, and reviews. You will play a key role in helping our clients effectively manage their tax affairs and optimize taxes. This is a full-time position based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.Qualifications and SkillsSemi qualified or qualified CA/CS/CMA/LLB4 to 6 years of experience in indirect tax consultancy or a similar roleStrong knowledge of indirect tax laws and regulationsExperience in providing advisory services and managing indirect tax compliance for clientsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to effectively communicate complex tax concepts to clientsStrong client relationship management skillsAttention to detail and exceptional organizational skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentProficiency in using tax software and Microsoft Office applicationsRoles and ResponsibilitiesProvide expert advice and guidance to clients on a wide range of indirect tax mattersAssist clients with compliance support, ensuring that all tax obligations are met accurately and timelyOffer advisory services to clients, identifying opportunities to optimize tax efficiency and minimize risksManage and oversee the preparation and filing of indirect tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulationsRepresent clients in indirect tax audits and liaise with tax authorities on their behalfConduct reviews and recommend strategies to improve tax compliance and minimize tax liabilitiesStay up-to-date with changes in indirect tax laws and regulations and communicate these changes to clientsProvide training and guidance to junior team members on indirect tax mattersPreparing tax updatesParticipating and leading internal team /clients' trainingBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and fostering long-term partnershipsPreparing reportsUndertaking reviews and representations
