Cloud Migration SpecialistOur organization is seeking a skilled Cloud Migration Specialist to support the migration of enterprise applications from on-premise environments to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).The ideal candidate will have experience with application migration strategies and tools, as well as proficiency in Terraform or similar Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools. They will also possess strong knowledge of GCP services, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, and IAM.Assess existing application architectures and recommend GCP-native designs for scalability, security, and cost optimization.Collaborate with project teams to plan and execute migration strategies, including rehosting, refactoring, and replatforming.Provide expertise on GCP services, IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and security compliance.Troubleshoot and resolve migration challenges related to networking, identity management, data transfer, and application dependencies.Work closely with architects, developers, and operations teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and governance.Required Skills:Strong knowledge of GCP services, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, and IAM.Experience with application migration strategies and tools.Proficiency in Terraform or similar IaC tools.Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD practices.Ability to identify and remediate technical blockers quickly.This role involves reviewing application architectures, advising on cloud best practices, and actively removing technical blockers to ensure smooth migration and modernization.
