Job briefWe are seeking an experienced Salesforce Vlocity Developer to design, configure, and implement solutions across Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ), Enterprise Product Catalog (EPC), and Order Management (OM) in Salesforce Communications Cloud. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise with Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) tools, data models, and OmniStudio, as well as a solid understanding of telecom business processes. This role will work closely with architects, business analysts, and integration teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions.Responsibilities Configure and customize Vlocity CPQ to implement guided selling, pricing rules, promotions, and quote lifecycle processesDevelop and maintain the Vlocity Enterprise Product Catalog, including product structures, attributes, rules, and versioningImplement order capture flows, product decomposition, orchestration plans, and fulfillment logic within Order ManagementBuild and enhance OmniStudio components such as OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, and FlexCardsCollaborate with business analysts and solution architects to translate requirements into technical solutionsIntegrate Communications Cloud with external systems (BSS/OSS, billing, inventory) using REST/SOAP APIs or middleware (e.g., MuleSoft)Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability through best practices and peer reviewsSupport testing cycles, defect resolution, and deployment activitiesDocument configuration logic, data mappings, and technical designs for ongoing maintenance and supportRequirementsBachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field4+ years of Salesforce development experience, with at least 2+ years in Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) projectsHands-on experience with CPQ, EPC, and Order Management in Communications CloudProficiency in OmniStudio tools: OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors, and FlexCardsStrong understanding of Vlocity data model, product modeling, pricing, and rules engineExperience integrating Salesforce Industries with external systems using APIs and middlewareFamiliarity with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative Salesforce development toolsKnowledge of version control, DevOps processes, and CI/CD deployment for Vlocity datapacks is a plusSalesforce certifications such as Industries CPQ Developer or OmniStudio Developer are highly desirableStrong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
