Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Content Writer at Rooftop located in Mumbai. The Senior Content Writer will be responsible for web content writing, content strategy, research, writing, and proofreading. They will collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling and engaging content that aligns with the company's brand and mission. The Senior Content Writer will also work closely with subject matter experts and artists to produce informative and captivating content.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ideate and strategise content and blogging strategy for the company website
  • Oversee the content style, tone and format of different brands under the domain
  • Should be efficient in incorporating email communications
  • Coordinate with a team of freelancers to churn out blogs for the website
  • Create content that resonates with the company’s vision and policies
  • Looking after content requirements for different departments
  • Managing a team of junior writers and assigning tasks based on their strengths
  • Writing and proofreading social media content, blog content, newsletters 
  • Writing Rooftop and Rajasthan Studio website content


Qualifications

  • Minimum experience of 2-4 years in an exhaustive content creation environment
  • Working across content writing domains is an add-on.
  • Graduation in Mass Communications/English Honours or any relevant field/ A Master’ Degree can give you an edge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Excellent understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress
  • Attention to detail 
  • Familiarity with long and short-form content
  • Knowledge of Indian art and culture
