Job Description:

Must-Have

(Ideally should not be more than 15)

  • Knowledge of Oracle Tuxedo Application Server
  • Installation and Configuration of Tuxedo Application Server
  • Deployment of application in Tuxedo AS
  • Applying patches, version upgrades, managing security in Tuxedo
  • Build and ensure implementation of software standards for operating systems, servers and virtualized infrastructures.
  • Setting up and configuring Tuxedo resources, including servers, queues, and security features. This includes defining the UBBCONFIG file and managing the TMS for each resource manager.
  • Maintaining the Tuxedo infrastructure, including applying patches, recompiling XA drivers, and managing server-side code.
  • Monitoring the health and performance of Tuxedo applications, including servers, queues, and system resources.
  • Implementing and managing security measures within the Tuxedo environment, including user authentication and authorization.
  • Diagnosing and resolving issues related to Tuxedo applications, including performance problems and application errors.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation for Tuxedo configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Working with application developers and other IT staff to ensure the smooth operation of Tuxedo applications.

Good-to-Have

  • Knowledge of Docker and Docker Swarm
  • Good knowledge of Linux and windows OS
  • Knowledge on Kubernetes
  • Scripting Knowledge (power shell and Linux Shell)
  • Skill on any of the middleware platform like Oracle Weblogic, Tomcat, Apache HTTPD, Websphere, Jboss , Wildfly, Tuxedo, Jboss FUSE, Jenkins (basics)

  • Providing support for BAU activities for 24*7
  • Adhering to the ITIL Process
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to communicate with customers across geographies
  • Performing day to day activities requested by end users via RITM, CR (DB access, DB objects level changes, Issues faced).
  • Performance tuning and Clustering queues.
  • Quarterly, Half yearly, Yearly Maintenance tasks.
