Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Engineer to join our team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sourcing and procurement while contributing to our mission of optimizing supply chains.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers.
  • Conduct market research to identify new sourcing and procurement opportunities.
  • Support the procurement team in supplier negotiations and contract management.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to understand sourcing requirements.
  • Maintain and update supplier databases and records.
  • Assist in the preparation of procurement reports and presentations.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Help resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers.
  • Onboarding and managing the database of suppliers and products.
  • Perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of Experience in Sourcing and Procurement with a degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering (Mechanical or ECE), or a related field.
  • Strong interest in sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management.
  • Excellent analytical and research skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • High level of motivation and willingness to learn.
