Electrical Validation Engineer Role SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Validation Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for validating high-speed SERDES IOs using test equipment such as BERT, Oscilloscope, and VNA in NVIDIA chips.The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with a strong understanding of signal integrity concepts and signal quality parameters. Experience with silicon PVT characterization and scripting to control test equipment using SCPI commands is a plus.Key Responsibilities:High-Speed SERDES IO Validation: Validate high-speed SERDES IOs (PCIe, USB3, UFS, and Ethernet) using test equipment.Test Plan Execution: Understand and execute the electrical validation test plan.DUT and Test Equipment Setup: Set up DUT, test equipment, run tests, and record observations.Result Comparison: Compare results with specifications and note discrepancies.Issue Analysis: Analyze issues or failures and collect data for root cause identification.Required Skills and Qualifications:Education: BE/B.Tech degree with 3+ years of experience in Electrical Validation.High-Speed SERDES IO Knowledge: Strong knowledge of high-speed SERDES IO from an electrical perspective.Hands-on Experience: Hands-on electrical validation experience with SERDES IO.Test Equipment Proficiency: Proficiency with high-speed test equipment like Oscilloscope, BERT, VNA, etc.Scripting Skills: Familiarity with scripting languages (Python/Perl).
