Job Title: Golang DeveloperLocation: Bengaluru, KAEmployment Type: Full-TimePosition OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Personal Lines Insurance Team. This role is ideal for professionals who value collaboration, diversity of thought, continuous learning, and who bring a balance of technical excellence and a positive team spirit.Working in an Agile environment, you’ll contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of web-based solutions using a modern tech stack. A strong emphasis is placed on testing methodologies and automation best practices.What You’ll Do- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web-based solutions using Golang, React, PostgreSQL, Apigee- Collaborate with team members to implement software based on design principles, patterns, and best practices- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, readability, and efficiency- Utilize AI-powered tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) for coding, debugging, and problem-solving- Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and industry trends- Contribute to architectural decisions, identifying technical risks and opportunities- Build and test RESTful APIs; automate test cases using Cypress and related tools- Leverage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab for continuous integration and delivery- Participate actively in Agile Scrum ceremonies, contributing to team planning, reviews, and retrospectives- Promote and enhance internal documentation and development processes- Support performance tuning, security testing, and system scalability effortsRequired Qualifications- 5+ years (Software Engineer) / 8+ years (Senior Software Engineer) of experience in software engineering- Minimum 1+ years (SE) / 3+ years (Sr SE) in Golang and React development- Experience in microservices architecture and cloud-native development- Proficiency in cloud technologies such as:- GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Apigee, Terraform, Helm, Istio, Envoy, Datadog- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and REST API development- Solid understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, and the full web development lifecycle- Experience writing automated tests using Cypress or similar tools- Familiarity with GitLab, version control, and CI/CD best practices- Experience or training in Agile Scrum methodology- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage in constructive technical discussionsPreferred Qualifications- Exposure to the insurance domain- Hands-on experience or interest in AI development and programming- Experience with RestSharp for API testing and integration- Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for collaborative problem-solvingWhy Join Us- Be part of a team that’s not afraid to innovate- Work with cutting-edge technologies- Thrive in a culture that values learning, growth, and inclusion- Contribute to solutions that genuinely improve customer experiences
