Procurement Management: Oversee the procurement of materials and services, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. Utilize Zoho Inventory to track and manage inventory levels and purchase orders.
B2B Transactions: Manage business-to-business procurement with a focus on industrial suppliers. Negotiate terms, prices, and delivery schedules to secure favourable conditions and ensure cost-efficiency.
Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with supply chain teams to forecast material needs, plan inventory levels, and optimize the supply chain process. Use Zoho Inventory to monitor stock levels and reorder points.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all purchased goods meet quality standards and specifications. Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify the quality and performance of procured items.
Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Address and resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing in a timely manner.
Cost Analysis: Perform cost analysis and evaluate supplier quotes to identify opportunities for cost savings. Prepare and review cost estimates and negotiate contracts to achieve the best value.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements. Generate reports on procurement performance and inventory status using Zoho Inventory.
Purchase Orders and Inventory Management: Create purchase orders for each part, considering minimum order quantities (MOQ) and sequence plans. Ensure accurate product availability dates for customer service order fulfillment.
Compliance and Coordination: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulations. Conduct audits of procurement processes and supplier performance as needed. Additionally, coordinate with internal teams to understand and fulfill their purchasing needs.
Key Result Areas (KRAs):
Procurement Oversight: Manage procurement processes and utilize Zoho Inventory for tracking.
Supplier Management: Handle B2B transactions and negotiate with suppliers.
Quality Control: Ensure products meet quality standards and perform audits.
Vendor Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
Cost Optimization: Analyze costs and secure savings through negotiation.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to policies and coordinate with internal teams.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial), Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
4 to 6 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field. Experience in industrial environments and B2B transactions is required.
Skills:
Proficiency in Zoho Inventory or similar inventory management software.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data, perform cost analysis, and make informed decisions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
Knowledge of supply chain management and inventory control principles.
