As the GSG family of schools expands, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Career Counselling professional to lead the implementation of Career Counselling programs across GSG schools. This role is pivotal in ensuring that students in grades 8 to 10 receive consistent, high-quality counselling support as they begin to explore academic and career paths.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in career counselling, team leadership, and program development, with a global perspective on education and future workforce trends.

The primary responsibility of this role will be is to design, implement, and oversee a standardized, high quality career guidance program for students in grades 8–10 across GSG schools globally. This includes managing a team of counsellors, ensuring consistent program delivery, and aligning with school goals to support students' early exploration of academic and career paths

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design, implement, and monitor a unified career guidance program tailored for students in grades 8–10 across all schools in the network.
- Conduct Psychometric and Aptitude tests to to help students identify their strengths, interests, and career aspirations.
- Drive one -to- one counselling across GSG School network (grade 8-10) to help students and their parents

–Interpret Psychometric and Aptitude tests outcome § Help them choose the right

– fit career option and relevant subject stream(s)

- Give activity recommendations to build their profile and demonstrate interests aligned with their career and stream choice.

- Ensure that counselling programs reflect current industry trends, emerging career fields, and critical skills for future success, adapting to cultural and regional nuances where necessary. Organize ongoing training and professional development for counsellors to enhance their skills in career guidance.
- Develop standardized guidance materials, tools, and workshops to be used across all schools, ensuring consistency in the quality and content of counselling.
- Collaborate with school principals and administrators to drive the implementation of Career Counselling program across the GSG network of schools.
- Lead the development of resources and communications for parents and guardians, offering insights into career pathways, educational planning, and ways to support their child’s journey. Establish systems to track student engagement and progress in career counselling activities across schools, ensuring consistent documentation and data analysis.
- Use data to assess program effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement and reporting on program impact to key stakeholders.
- Stay informed on global workforce trends, higher education pathways, and innovative counselling techniques, integrating relevant insights into the program.
- Identify and establish partnerships with educational institutions, industry experts, and other resources to drive career exploration activities for GSG network schools.

Minimum Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Career Counselling, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in career counselling, including at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing multiple locations or a diverse team.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing career guidance programs for middle and high school students, ideally with a global or multicultural perspective.
- Strong organizational, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
