As a Financial Professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and submit GST returns in a timely manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and deadlines.Verify and reconcile financial documents, invoices, and receipts to ensure accuracy and compliance.Monitor changes in tax laws and accounting standards, communicating implications to stakeholders as necessary.Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any financial-related queries or issues promptly.Payroll Management:Oversight of the entire payroll process, including salary calculations, deductions, reimbursements, and tax withholding.Maintenance and update of employee payroll records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.Handling of payroll tax deductions and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Addressing employee payroll inquiries and resolving discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.Financial Record-Keeping:Accurate recording of financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.Maintenance of general ledger entries, ensuring that all financial activities are appropriately documented.Reconciliation of bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial accounts regularly.Generation of financial reports and statements, providing insights to management on financial performance.Financial Analysis and Reporting:Assistance in analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.Collaboration with the finance team to prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.Support in preparing financial statements and reports required for audits and statutory compliance.Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:Ensuring compliance with all relevant Indian accounting and tax regulations.Staying up-to-date with changes in tax laws, accounting standards, and financial reporting requirements.Assistance with external audits and provision of necessary documentation and information as required.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Collaboration with various departments to gather financial data and insights for decision-making.Work closely with the finance team to streamline processes and improve overall financial efficiency.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Proven experience as a Financial Professional with expertise in GST filing, payroll management, and bookkeeping in an Indian context.Thorough understanding of Indian accounting principles, taxation, and regulatory requirements.Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office suite.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members and external stakeholders.Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
