Junior Automotive Engineer – Vehicle Diagnostics

Role Summary:We are looking for a Junior Automotive Engineer to support automotive research and diagnostics development, focusing on OBD-II systems, CAN data analysis, and improving car scanner functionality.Key ResponsibilitiesTest OBD-II scanner functions (DTCs, live data PIDs, resets, special functions).Check function support across different car brands and models.Log CAN/OBD data and prepare structured reports.Identify incorrect sensor values, scaling issues, and unsupported PIDs.Work with the product and tech teams to improve automotive diagnostics logic.Document findings and contribute to building accurate vehicle-specific data.Requirements:Basic understanding of vehicle systems, ECUs, sensors, and diagnostics.Familiarity with OBD-II scanners and CAN communication (beginner level).Strong observation, analytical thinking, and reporting skills.Passion for cars, learning diagnostics, and automotive electronics.
