Lead Frontend DeveloperJob Title:A seasoned expert in frontend architecture is sought to spearhead our modernization initiatives.About the JobWe need an experienced professional to lead the design and evolution of frontend architecture for large-scale applications. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for evaluating and implementing microfrontend architecture, modernizing legacy codebases, integrating shared UI libraries, providing technical leadership, conducting code reviews, establishing unit testing practices, and ensuring engineering excellence.Your responsibilities will include mentoring junior developers, supporting talent development across the team, driving technical interviews, contributing to frontend talent acquisition, acting as a senior technical contact for complex bug fixing, collaborating with backend teams, implementing diagnostic tools, logs, and debugging strategies, and leading the transformation of testing strategy across frontend systems.You will work closely with solution architects, backend developers, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure cohesive frontend-backend integration, provide technical consultation for complex architectural decisions, participate in sprint planning, grooming, and high-level technical discussions, and advocate best practices and drive adoption even in environments resistant to modern testing approaches.RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you should have strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks (React preferred; Angular/Vue acceptable if strong fundamentals). Experience architecting large-scale frontend applications and microfrontend architecture is essential. You should also have a deep understanding of Node.js and Express.js fundamentals, expertise in frontend tooling, solid understanding of UI/UX fundamentals and responsive design, experience working with REST APIs and distributed systems, hands-on experience with E2E testing tools, familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization, experience with enterprise-grade design systems and shared component libraries, knowledge of accessibility and web security best practices, prior experience leading frontend teams in multinational or large-scale projects, strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, ability to handle rapid-response scenarios in production environments, and proactive, solution-oriented mindset with ownership of delivery quality.This position requires at least 8 years of experience in software development, preferably in frontend engineering. You must be comfortable leading architecture discussions, guiding teams with clarity, and handling rapid-response scenarios in production environments.
