Accounting SpecialistAbout this role:We are seeking an experienced accounting specialist to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for bookkeeping and reconciliations, payroll processing, VAT returns, year-end accounts, and filing personal tax returns.Key responsibilities include:Preparing and managing financial records and reportsProcessing payroll and ensuring timely payments to employees and directorsCompleting VAT returns and registrationsPreparation of year-end accounts and corporation tax returnsFiling personal tax returns on behalf of clientsRequirements:Background in UK accounting or tax with experience in practice or trainingStrong knowledge of UK compliance, including HMRC and Companies House regulationsProficiency in cloud accounting software, such as Xero, QuickBooks, or FreeAgentExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAs an accounting specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients and gain exposure to different areas of accounting.
