Job Description: Data Engineer (Snowflake, DBT, Fivetran, AWS)


We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with experience in Snowflake, DBT, Fivetran, and AWS to join our team. In this role, you’ll design and implement data pipelines, transform data, and ensure efficient, scalable, and cost-effective data solutions. You will work closely with business and technical teams to meet data requirements and optimize cloud-based infrastructure.


Responsibilities:

  • Data Engineering & Architecture: Design and optimize data solutions on Snowflake; implement data ingestion pipelines using Fivetran; and create DBT-based transformation frameworks, including data modeling and performance tuning.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Leverage AWS (S3, Redshift) to build and manage data storage and analytics solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work with BI teams to develop data models and visualizations using Tableau and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data meets business needs.
  • Governance & Cost Control: Ensure adherence to data governance and security best practices while managing costs within the cloud environment.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Snowflake, DBT, Fivetran, and AWS (S3, Redshift).
  • Strong skills in Python for data scripting and automation.
  • Proficiency in Tableau or similar BI tools for creating reports and visualizations.
  • Experience with data governance, security, and cost optimization in cloud environments.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.


Preferred:

Experience with Business Objects and Informatica is a plus.
