Role Summary:
The Personal Assistant (PA) at Book My Accountant (BMA) will act as a key support to the leadership team, providing expertise in accounting and taxation while taking responsibility for guiding and managing employees. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills to ensure smooth operations within the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting & Taxation Support:
- Assist in preparing and reviewing financial reports, tax returns, and compliance documentation.
- Provide guidance on GST, TDS, income tax, and other regulatory filings.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure timely reporting.
- Employee Management:
- Supervise and guide employees across different departments to meet organizational goals.
- Delegate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of assignments.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Administrative Responsibilities:
- Schedule and manage meetings, appointments, and events for the leadership team.
- Maintain and update operational policies, processes, and documentation.
- Handle correspondence, communications, and follow-ups with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategic Coordination:
- Act as a bridge between management and employees, ensuring smooth communication.
- Work closely with the leadership team to implement strategies and achieve business objectives.
- Identify and resolve operational issues proactively.
- Client Interaction:
- Address client inquiries and provide support for accounting and taxation-related concerns.
- Ensure that client deliverables are met with accuracy and professionalism.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax), and compliance.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Leadership and team management skills to handle employees effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally) and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
- Previous experience in handling teams and providing operational support.
- Familiarity with industry-specific compliance requirements.
