Job Title: SAP Project Systems (PS) Consultant – S/4HANADepartment: Information TechnologyReports To: SAP Practice Lead rLocation: Gurgaon, Bengaluru, and PuneRole Summary:The SAP Project Systems (PS) Consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP PS modules in S/4HANA. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to design and deliver scalable solutions for project planning, budgeting, execution, and financial integration, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and best practices.Key Responsibilities:Implement, configure, and support SAP Project Systems (PS) module in S/4HANA.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FI/CO, MM, SD, PM) to ensure seamless integration of PS with other SAP modules.Translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical solutions.Design and deliver project structures (WBS, networks, milestones) aligned with business needs.Configure project costing, budgeting, settlement, and progress tracking functionalities.Support data migration, testing (unit, integration, and UAT), and go-live activities.Provide end-user training and post-implementation support.Document configuration, test cases, and process flows.Work on continuous improvement and system optimization initiatives.Required Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Project Systems (PS).Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations or migrations (at least one end-to-end project).Strong understanding of Project Structures, Networks, Cost Planning, Budgeting, and Settlements.Knowledge of integration with FI/CO, MM, SD, and PM modules.Proficiency in preparing functional specifications and working with ABAP developers.Experience in data migration and Fiori applications related to Project Systems.Soft Skills:Excellent communication and presentation skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.Collaborative team player with stakeholder management experience.Commitment to quality and attention to detail.Preferred Qualifications:SAP Certified Application Associate – Project Systems in SAP S/4HANA.Experience in Agile or Hybrid project management environments.Exposure to SAP Activate methodology.Experience in public sector or manufacturing industries (optional).Key Relationships:Business Process OwnersSAP Functional & Technical TeamsProject ManagersExternal Vendors / Implementation PartnersRole Dimensions:Individual Contributor or Module Lead role.May mentor junior consultants or coordinate small project teams.Responsible for module ownership and process standardization across business units.Success Measures (KPIs):On-time and within-budget delivery of PS module deliverables.System stability and minimal post-go-live issues.Positive user adoption and feedback.Quality and completeness of project documentation.Competency Framework Alignment:Technical Expertise: SAP PS Configuration & IntegrationBusiness Acumen: Understanding of Project Accounting & Financial ProcessesCollaboration: Cross-functional teamwork and communicationContinuous Improvement: Innovation and optimization mindsetThanks,Renukarenuka.thakur@eminds.ai
