Job Summary:

The Equipment Audit Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and managing audits of the company’s equipment assets. This role ensures that all equipment is accounted for, maintained, and utilized efficiently, while also ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.



Key Responsibilities:


1. Audit Planning and Execution:

➢Develop and implement audit plans for the company’s equipment assets.

➢Conduct regular audits of equipment inventory, usage, and maintenance records.

➢Identify discrepancies, inefficiencies, and areas of non-compliance, and recommend corrective actions.


2. Equipment Management:

➢Ensure accurate tracking and documentation of all equipment assets, including acquisition, maintenance, and disposal.

➢Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to verify that equipment is in good working condition and being used effectively.

➢Develop and maintain a comprehensive equipment inventory database..


3. Process Improvement:

➢Analyze current equipment management processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

➢Implement best practices for equipment management, including regular maintenance schedules and proper utilization.

➢Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements.


4. Reporting and Documentation:

➢Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings, conclusions, and recommendations for management.

➢Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all audits, including equipment inventories, audit schedules, and compliance documentation.

➢Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of equipment audits and any significant findings.


5. Stakeholder Collaboration:

➢Collaborate with procurement, operations, finance, and maintenance teams to ensure that equipment is managed effectively across the organization.

➢Serve as the point of contact for external auditors or regulatory bodies during equipment audits.

➢Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support the implementation of audit recommendations.
