Job Role OverviewThe position of Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) Specialist is a crucial component in delivering end-to-end OTM implementations. To succeed, the ideal candidate must possess hands-on experience working with OTM Cloud, SQL, and be well-versed in Agile and DevOps practices.Lead or participate in full lifecycle OTM Implementation projects, ensuring seamless execution from start to finish.Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective OTM solutions.Configure OTM modules, workflows, agents, and automation rules to optimize system performance.Perform OTM Cloud configurations and support integration with external systems, driving operational efficiency.Conduct thorough functional and technical analysis, develop solution designs, and troubleshoot system issues to maintain high-quality standards.Support OTM on-premise to cloud migration activities, enhancing scalability and flexibility.Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/DevOps environment, fostering innovation and productivity.Create comprehensive documentation, functional specs, and process flows for successful implementations.Required Expertise:A minimum of 8-12 years of experience in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM).Strong hands-on expertise with OTM Cloud, encompassing both functional and technical aspects.Proficiency in SQL and OTM-related data structures, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, version control, build/release processes, and Agile methodologies.Experience with OTM on-premises to cloud migration, particularly for senior roles.Excellent communication and client interaction skills, enabling effective collaboration.Desirable Qualifications:OTM certifications, demonstrating expertise and commitment.Background in Logistics/Supply Chain domain, providing valuable industry insights.Understanding of API/Integration concepts, including SOAP/REST protocols.
