Power Grid Design EngineerThe role involves tasks in estimating power consumption using industry-standard tools, designing reliable and efficient power grids, analyzing power grid performance, doing static and dynamic IR drop analysis, and understanding custom placement/routing methods.Key responsibilities include:Estimating power consumption using industry-standard toolsDesigning robust power grids with optimal voltage and current distributionAnalyzing power grid performance to ensure reliability and efficiencyConducting static and dynamic IR drop analysis to identify potential issuesUnderstanding custom placement and routing methods for improved performanceRequirements include:Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronic Engineering with proven experience in ASIC Physical DesignDetailed knowledge of EDA tools and flows for power management, Ansys Redhawk/Cadence Voltus experience is highly valuedStrong understanding of power grid design and calculation methodologiesExcellent communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team environmentThis role requires a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, combined with practical experience in power grid design and management.
