Job Title: Data Analysis ExpertSkillfully generate summary tables, data listings, graphs, and derived datasets using SAS or other software according to statistical analysis plans and programming specifications.Ensure that outputs meet quality standards and project requirements by performing validation programming, collaborating with Statistical Programmers, Biostatisticians, and project team members, and resolving discrepancies or findings.Develop specifications for datasets and outputs according to statistical and Sponsor requirements, anticipating potential programming issues and resolving them efficiently.Accurately define all variables to ensure peer review acceptance and minimize rework.Inform project team members of programming progress and issues requiring attention, maintaining templates for successful project implementation.Ensure well-organized, complete, and up-to-date project documentation, verification/quality control documents, and programs are ready for inspection.Manage scheduling and time constraints across multiple projects, setting goals based on priorities from management and adapting to timeline or priority changes by reorganizing daily workload.Direct the programming activities of other programming personnel and monitor progress on programming deliverables as co-Lead Statistical Programmer.Coordinate project start-up activities, create global programs, track spreadsheets, and document other required information.Interact with sponsors and internal stakeholders regarding statistical programming issues and provide assistance to project teams in resolving problems encountered in their daily work.Fulfill the role of Statistical Programming Lead on projects in the absence of the Project lead and contribute to input into and negotiation of statistical programming timelines to ensure adherence to deadlines.Co-coordinate a statistical programming team to successfully complete studies within given timelines and budgets.
