Job Title: Senior Finance Associate (Part-Time) Location: RemoteTime Commitment: 8–12 hours/week (flexible timing)Compensation: ₹15,000–₹20,000/month About NavGurukulNavGurukul is a non-profit organization that runs free residential and remote programs to help young people from underserved backgrounds build careers through coding, life skills, and more. Our School of Finance is a unique initiative to help students understand the world of money, budgeting, and financial decision-making in simple and practical ways. Role OverviewWe are looking for a Senior Finance Associate (Part-Time) who can mentor and guide our students in the School of Finance. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys teaching real-world finance in simple terms and wants to contribute meaningfully to a social cause. What You’ll DoTeach and mentor students on basic to intermediate finance topics such as personal finance, budgeting, Excel, accounting, and financial planning. Additionally, they should also cover Advanced Excel and Tally as part of the curriculum.Help students understand the practical side of finance—like managing their income, planning for goals, and tracking expenses.Design simple engaging assignments and grade them regularlyConduct online sessions (twice a week, one hour each session)Share real-life financial experiences to make learning relatable and hands-on.Who You Are3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial education.Comfortable with concepts like Excel, Tally, budgeting, savings, taxes, investments, and personal finance.Passionate about teaching and simplifying accounting for beginners.Able to commit a few hours weekly for mentoring.Fluent in Hindi or English (bonus if both).Prior experience working with youth or in the education/social sector is a plus.Compensation DetailsWe’re a non-profit, so our budget is limited, but we deeply value your time and expertise.We are offering a compensation of ₹15,000 to ₹20,000 per month, based on experience and availability.
