Position: Data Engineer – DEX (Digital Employee Experience)

Location: Gurgaon, India
Application Packaging, Automation & Monitoring team is responsible for delivering application packaging, automation, and monitoring services to support end user technology device infrastructure. Part of monitoring services, Digital employee experience (DEX) team is continuously working towards measuring and continuously improve the performance of and employee sentiment toward company-provided technology. By processing data from endpoints, applications, employee sentiment and organizational context in near real time, we can surface actionable insights and drive self-healing automations, optimized support, and employee engagement.

Responsibilities
This position is within the DWE (Digital Workplace Engineering -Monitoring & Metrics Engineering Department and is based in Gurgaon, India. The primary role involves an engineer who designs, builds, and maintains systems for collecting, storing, and analyzing data at scale. Individual candidate should have extensive experience using DEX tool called “ControlUp”: -

Here are some key responsibilities:
· Building data pipelines: They create and manage the architecture that allows data to flow from various sources into a centralized system using ControlUp.
· Data transformation: They develop algorithms to clean, transform, and prepare data for analysis.
· Database management: They design and maintain databases and data warehouses to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
· Ensuring data quality: They implement measures to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of data.
· Collaboration: They work closely with data visualization experts, analysts, and other stakeholders across Digital Workplace organization to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
· The successful candidate should have experience in a wide range of end-user computing and not just monitoring tools.

Required Skills
· Required skills for this role include 6 to 8 + years of relevant experience in Data engineering domain alongside in the domain of End user computing / infrastructure monitoring.
· Ability to work on end-point monitoring tools specifically ControlUp.
· Programming/Scripting experience preferably PowerShell alongside C#/Python etc.)
· Preferred working experience on DEX tool “ControlUp”
· Experience on virtual end point technology (VDI / VMware etc.) will be good to have.
· Strong troubleshooting skills accompanying creating thinking to resolve complex and non-complex issues.
· Must possess excellent customer service, follow up and organizational skills
· Outstanding written and verbal communications skills complemented by proven expertise in relationship building and management.
· Any experience n Data visualization tools like Power BI / Tableau etc. will be good to have.
