Designation: Social Media Manager - YouTube

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 7 – 10 years

Job responsibilities:

  • YouTube Strategy Development (Kids Channel Focus): Design and implement a robust YouTube strategy that focuses on growing a kids' content channel. Develop tactics for audience growth, content planning, and maximizing engagement, while integrating efforts on Instagram and Facebook as supporting platforms.
  • Content Creation & Management: Lead the scheduling and publishing of content. Ensure content aligns with YouTube’s kids’ policies and is optimized for algorithm performance.
  • Analytics & Performance Tracking: Analyse performance metrics using YouTube Studio and other third-party tools. Provide insights on watch time, retention, engagement, and growth, and adjust strategies to optimize results.
  • Audience Engagement & Community Building: Monitor comments, interactions, and community engagement across platforms.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for coordination and communication with the external agency, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the creative, marketing teams to produce visually engaging content.
  • Trends & Compliance: Stay updated on the latest trends in YouTube’s kids' content, new features, and platform updates.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 7+ years of social media management experience, with a demonstrated ability to grow and manage a YouTube channel (preferably kids) with over 1+ million subscribers.
  • Expertise in the algorithms, trends, and best practices for YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
