Job Description

● Data Engineer will create and maintain the tech. infrastructure required for optimal processing of data.

● He/she will provide structured data to enable Data Scientist to analyze and build tools based on data.

● Role includes developing data models, creating data pipelines, and managing data retrieval, storage and distribution.

● Should be well versed with the concept of Data warehousing, Data Modelling and/or Data Analysis.

● Experience in the development of Enterprise Data Platform will be preferred.

● Hands on experience on a few of the data stores: RDBMS (like Postgres, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server), cloud data warehouses (like Snowflake, Redshift, Synapse Analytics, BigQuery, etc.)

● Good experience with SQL with Pig/Hive/Spark or similar tech

● Knowledge of Java or Python is preferred.

● Experience in building orchestration/data pipelines using workflows like Airflow, Argo Workflow or dbt or AWS Lambda/Step Functions or AWS Glue

● Experienced in cloud technologies like AWS, Azure or GCP

● Experience in developing containerized applications/microservices and good understanding of Kubernetes.

● Good to Have Experience in Python programming.

● Good to have experience with Continuous deployment tools like ArgoCD


Job Responsibilities
