Performance Test EngineerWe are seeking a highly skilled Performance Test Engineer to join our team.About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned performance testing professional to work with us and contribute to the delivery of high-quality software products.The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of performance testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. They should be able to design, develop, and maintain JMeter performance test scripts based on business requirements and user scenarios.The successful candidate will conduct various types of performance testing: Load, Stress, Soak, and Spike tests. They will analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide recommendations for performance improvements.Collaboration with development, DevOps, and business teams is essential in replicating and troubleshooting performance issues. The successful candidate will generate detailed performance reports and present findings to stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and Develop Performance Test Scripts:Develop and maintain JMeter performance test scripts based on business requirements and user scenarios.Conduct Performance Testing:Perform various types of performance testing: Load, Stress, Soak, and Spike tests.Analyze Test Results:Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide recommendations for performance improvements.Collaborate with Teams:Work closely with development, DevOps, and business teams to replicate and troubleshoot performance issues.Presentation of Findings:Generate detailed performance reports and present findings to stakeholders.RequirementsExperience with JMeter: Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Apache JMeter.Understanding of Performance Testing Concepts: Strong understanding of performance testing concepts and SDLC/STLC.Scripting Skills: Experience in scripting complex performance test cases using JMeter functions, correlation, and parameterization.Analysis Skills: Proficiency in analyzing server-side logs and system metrics to identify performance issues.CI/CD Pipeline Experience: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance testing into DevOps processes.HTTP/REST API Knowledge: Working knowledge of HTTP, REST APIs, JSON/XML, and web protocols.Bonus PointsFamiliarity with Cloud Environments: Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).Additional Performance Tools: Familiarity with additional performance tools like LoadRunner, Gatling, or k6.Database Performance Testing: Experience in database performance testing and basic SQL.Testing Certifications: ISTQB or other testing certifications.We are looking for a talented individual who can bring their expertise and passion for performance testing to our team.
