Senior Software Test Automation Specialist

Job Title:Senior Quality Assurance EngineerDescription:This is a long-term contract position with one of the leading technology companies.Main Responsibilities:Develop, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress/Playwright for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define testing strategies, acceptance criteria, and release quality standards.Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility through automation suites.Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintain pipeline stability.Implement test reporting, dashboards, and quality analytics.Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve automation failures efficiently.Promote best practices in QA automation and contribute to continuous process improvements.Required Skills:Strong hands-on experience with Cypress and/or Playwright.Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.Experience in API testing, including mocking frameworks like Postman or similar tools.Strong debugging and analytical problem-solving skills.Exposure to performance testing and visual regression testing.Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.Preferred / Secondary Skills:Experience with Jenkins, Shell scripting, Java, and AWS.Knowledge of integrating automation within modern DevOps ecosystems.Primary Skills: Cypress/Playwright, JavaScript/Typescript, PostmanSecondary Skills: Jenkins, Java, Shell Scripting, AWSWe promote a progressive and inclusive work culture, encourage innovation and collaboration, and provide a flexible, learning-driven environment.
