Responsible for all civil design and engineering related activities for ongoing and upcoming projects.Manage time, cost and scope without any deviation. Track monitor and control civil related deliverables and providing technical support for Procurement and Construction activities at site.

Responsibilities

  • Lead entire civil design team for reviewing and checking of a civil design.
  • Plan, design, and coordinate for civil engineering, Geotechnical engineering, infrastructural design works for projects internally and with project, procurement and construction team
  • Ensure all engineering works comply with all relevant Statutory standards, Regulations and Codes of Practices.
  • Ensure Design Review prepared by engineersand maintaining high- quality standards of design consultancy service.
  • Work collaboratively to coordinate with other discipline leads
  • Manage a design team to develop a cost-effective design of complex chemical plants , as well as the associated preparation of plans and reports for the various design stages during tenders and delivery phase
  • Due diligence and review of civil designs provided by team engineers as well as subconsultants; performing quality control reviews of work performed by others
  • Monitor and report progress against design schedule. Review and approve tasks to ensure deadlines are met
  • Responsible for the estimation of Bills of Quantities
  • Perform studies on applicable specifications for performing the specified work in the plan
  • Assists on field observation work when necessary
  • Responsible for assigned project from the initial development. This will require meetings with users to fully determine their needs & fulfilling the same.
  • Conducts project review meetings &identify the issuesthat come up and plan countermeasures.
  • Assist cost engineers with timing information for cost forecasting accuracy.
