Who we are:

This Group designs and develops network management solutions for the entire portfolio of Tejas devices working across technologies like SDH/SONET, OTN, DWDM, GPON, Carrier Ethernet and MPLS-TP. It includes support for the 4G and 5G wireless ecosystem management. The group’s flagship product’s (TejNMS) unique value proposition is that it provides a unified and comprehensive management solution for multi-technology layered networks for telecom service providers and enterprises. The product supports extensive fault & performance monitoring and an intuitive, user-friendly graphical user interface to visualize and provision a multi-layer network using point & click remotely. The solution follows the ITU-T standard TNM architecture and supports TMF and TAPI complaint standard interfaces to enable deployment of Software Defined Networks (SDN).

What you work:

• Define the overall test strategy and approach for large-scale systems.
• Analyze the field issues, work towards adding those gaps in testing cycle
• Excellent troubleshooting hands-on for JAVA based Software Applications based on memory, heaps, scalability, stress etc.
• Improve scale/performance/stress environment to make stable software releases using new techniques
• Develop/Review test plans, test cases, and test data, ensuring they align with the overall project goals and requirements.
• Establish guidelines for test automation, performance, security, and other non-functional testing.
• Design and develop scalable, reusable, and maintainable test automation frameworks.
• Integrate test frameworks with CI/CD pipelines.

Mandatory skills:

• Should have deployed at least 2-3 large scale ISP networks with respect to 4G/OTN/GPON etc.
• Should have worked with customers on field issues and front-end the discussion on RCA/Next Steps etc.
• Should have done OSS/BSS Integration for 2-3 customers for RestAPIs, TMF, MTOSI etc.
• Telecom Domain: xGPON, 4G/5G, Routing, Switching
• Test Automation: Expertise in frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, etc.
• Programming Languages: Proficient in one or more (Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, etc.).
• CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc

Desired skills:

• Version Control: Git, GitHub, Bitbucket.
• API Testing: Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI.
• Performance Testing: JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner.
• Security Testing: Basic understanding of tools like OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite.
• Containerization & Cloud: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure testing tools.
• Test Management Tools: Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, qTest.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience: 14 to 18 years’ experience from Telecommunication or Networking background.
• Education: B.Tech/BE (CSE/ECE/EEE/IS) or any other equivalent degree
• Candidate should be good at python automation with any framework experience.
