Remote Bookkeeper

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly organized and proactive professional to manage heavy monthly bookkeeping while also supporting operations and workflow coordination in our fast-paced startup environment.The ideal candidate will have strong Xero + QBO experience, US/UK bookkeeping and monthly close experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills for US/UK client interaction.Key Responsibilities:End-to-end monthly bookkeeping for clientsMonth-end close: reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepaymentsPrepare P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow, variance analysisMaintain accurate books in cloud-based accounting softwareOperational coordination: manage workflows, ensure task deadlines, maintain recordsAssist with client onboarding, account setup, and documentationSupport process improvements and help streamline internal workflowsRequirements:Strong Xero + QBO experience (mandatory)US/UK bookkeeping and monthly close experienceExperience in operations/practice support within accounting or professional servicesExcellent written and verbal communication for US/UK client interactionStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple prioritiesTech-savvy, proactive, and comfortable working with cloud-based toolsWhy We're Different:Our company is a fast-growing UK-based professional accounting and bookkeeping firm focused on technology startups and high-growth businesses.
