Position Overview:

Our client is looking for a passionate and dynamic Social Media and Marketing Specialist to take the reins of our digital presence. This is a high-impact, 360-degree role designed for someone who lives and breathes DeFi, thrives on shitposting, and can craft narratives that resonate with whales and degens.

You’ll own the voice of the company across social media platforms, drive community engagement, and work on innovative marketing strategies to position the client as a leader in the Web3 space.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:

• Ownership of Accounts: Manage and grow our Twitter accounts along with other social media platforms.
• Shitposting & Engagement: Create witty, engaging, and viral content to build their presence in the DeFi and Web3 communities.
• Content Calendar: Develop and execute a dynamic content calendar, balancing humor, education, BD and product updates.
• Community Interaction: Monitor trends, respond to comments, and engage with the broader crypto community to amplify their brand voice.

Marketing Strategy & Execution:

• Campaign Development: Plan and execute creative campaigns to increase user adoption, build brand awareness, and showcase innovative products.
• Brand Positioning: Define and evolve unique voice, making it relatable and memorable for the DeFi audience.
• Analytics: Measure and analyze the performance of campaigns to optimize strategies and maximize reach.

Content Creation:

• DeFi Education: Break down complex DeFi concepts into digestible content, including memes, threads, videos, and infographics.
• Storytelling: Collaborate with internal teams to highlight milestones, partnerships, and product features in a compelling way.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2+ years in social media management, digital marketing, or community management, preferably in the crypto or tech space.
• Knowledge: Solid understanding of DeFi, crypto, and blockchain technologies. Bonus points if you're already active in the space.
• Writing Talent: Exceptional written communication skills with a flair for humor and creativity.
• Analytical Mindset: Familiarity with analytics tools to measure performance and inform strategy.
