The Data & AI Architect plays a pivotal role in crafting end-to-end data platform solutions that tackle complex business problems.Key responsibilities include leading the technical response for RFPs/RFIs, spearheading Proof of Concepts (POCs), and demonstrating how Microsoft Fabric, AI, and Data Governance can harmonize client data estates.Technical Solutioning• Develop compelling architectural diagrams, presentations, and effort estimations to support technical solutioning for RFPs and RFIs.• Collaborate with C-level executives and technical stakeholders to define problem statements and propose modern data estate roadmaps.• Design unified data storage strategies using OneLake to eliminate data silos and enable direct access for high-performance analytics.Analytics Solutions• Craft end-to-end analytics solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric workloads, including Data Factory, Synapse Data Engineering, Data Science, and Real-Time Intelligence.• Implement Generative AI and LLMs (Azure OpenAI) within the data flow to democratize data access for business users.Data Governance• Embed Data Governance by design using Microsoft Purview and Fabric's governance features to ensure data lineage, cataloging, security, and compliance are integral to the proposed solution.Migration Strategies• Create migration strategies for clients moving from legacy Big Data platforms or older Azure architectures to the unified Microsoft Fabric SaaS platform.
