Key responsibilities include:Designing and building APIs using IBM API Connect or equivalent platforms.Defining governance policies for authentication, authorization, rate limits, quotas, versioning, and lifecycle management.Managing the API gateway, including routing, transformation, orchestration, protocol mediation, and traffic control.Setting up and maintaining the developer portal, featuring published APIs, internal/external consumer onboarding, documentation, and self-service subscription.Monitoring API usage, performance, latency, and error metrics, as well as analyzing usage patterns and production issues.Handling security and resilience, including secure back-end integrations, payload validation, threat mitigation, and high-availability.Maintaining expertise in cloud-based services such as AWS API Gateway, S3, EKS, and staying updated on emerging protocols and best practices within API management.We are seeking an individual with exceptional technical skills, strong analytical abilities, and excellent communication skills to fill this critical position.
