Marketing Data Analyst Job DescriptionWe're seeking a skilled Marketing Data Analyst to join our team. As a key player in our marketing department, you'll be responsible for digging into Ads performance, building Looker dashboards that tell a story, and uncovering insights that help clients grow.This role is perfect for someone who loves finding patterns in messy datasets, translating numbers into strategic recommendations, and enjoying diverse projects.You'll review the previous month's performance for clients, extract meaningful insights, and arm account managers with insightful recommendations.You'll look beyond the surface-level metrics in Ads to identify why campaigns are performing the way they are and what can be done differently.You'll build and maintain Looker dashboards (or Power BI) that make complex performance data instantly understandable for the account managers.You'll tackle murky attribution challenges and wrangle massive datasets to connect the dots.We're looking for someone with 3+ years of experience who has the following skills and traits:A strong marketing background and understanding of digital marketing metrics intuitively.Proficiency in Excel (or Google Sheets) and ability to manipulate data with ease.Ability to use Python for data analysis and matchbacks.Comfort navigating Ads platforms and GA4.Able to manage multiple special projects simultaneously and thrive with autonomy.Bonus points if you have:A track record of uncovering insights that meaningfully changed marketing strategy.Client services experience.Exposure to M&A due diligence or acquisition analysis.Experience working with large point-of-sale datasets.
