Job Summary:The Construction Accounting Manager will oversee and manage the financial accounting functions within the organization.This role requires a deep understanding of construction accounting principles, financial management, and compliance.The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining fiscal discipline, and supporting the overall success of construction projects.Responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, preparing and analyzing monthly and quarterly financial statements, and managing the yearly audit and tax compliance process.Key qualifications include a CA or CPA certification, 8-10 years of experience in the real estate/construction industry, excellent writing and communication skills, and strong analytical and quantitative abilities.Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries to ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.Prepare project profitability reports and percentage of completion method of accounting.Requirements:CA/CPA with 8-10 years of experience in real estate/construction industry.Highly organized with strong attention to detail and quality of deliverables.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Strong computer skills, including Yardi or similar real estate accounting systems.Additional responsibilities include establishing internal controls, tracking expenses, and providing management with information vital to decision-making processes.
