Job Description
The Infra Solution Architect will design solutions for new initiatives and perform project and capacity planning related to the organization's Trading infrastructure requirements. He/she will work with the Network and server Administrator to install, modify, monitor, and maintain the Emkay network and computer systems. Exceptional analytical skills are required to troubleshoot issues and deliver secure, creative, value-driven solutions.
Job Duties:
- Architect and Design: Develop comprehensive infrastructure solutions, with a focus on low-latency networks, to support high-frequency trading operations & low-latency product offerings.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and reliable technical architectures.
- Design and implement solutions using OEM platforms, such as CISCO and Arista, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Low Latency Networking:Utilize expertise in low-latency networking to design and optimize network architecture for high-frequency trading environments.
- Implement best practices to minimize latency and enhance overall system performance.
- Collaborate with network engineers to troubleshoot and resolve latency-related issues.
- OEM Platforms:Work with CISCO and Arista platforms/switches to design and implement network infrastructure solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest features and capabilities of OEM platforms to leverage them effectively in the architecture.
- High-Frequency Trading Platforms:Possess in-depth knowledge of high-frequency trading platforms, algorithms, and market connectivity solutions.
- Collaborate with trading system developers and engineers to integrate infrastructure components seamlessly with high-frequency trading systems.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously assess and optimize the performance of infrastructure components, ensuring they meet or exceed the requirements of high-frequency trading.
- Understanding of the L3 Topology required as per the NSE Guidelines and ability to work/implement L1, L2 topology too
- Documentation and Communication:Create detailed technical documentation for architecture, configurations, and procedures.
- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Good understanding of the exchange guidelines for Colocation and regulatory updates in vulnerability assessment of the HFT platforms.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Infrastructure Solution Architect with a focus on low-latency networks and high-frequency trading platforms.
- Strong expertise in OEM platforms such as CISCO and Arista.
- Knowledge of market data feeds, trading protocols, and algorithmic trading strategies.
- Experience in optimizing network and infrastructure components for low-latency requirements.
