As a part-time Business Insights Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth through data-driven decision making.The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex business datasets and design insightful KPIs. Experience with Power BI, SQL, and Google Sheets is essential, as well as expertise in automation tools like Make.com and Apps Script.Key Responsibilities:Data Analysis and ModellingDevelop dashboards from scratch using Power BI, incorporating advanced DAX formulas and efficient data modelsUse Power Query for seamless data transformation and shapingDesign and implement star schema data models for analytics-ready insightsConfigure RLS, scheduled refresh, incremental refresh, parameters, etc.SQL DevelopmentWrite optimized queries combining multiple datasets, utilizing intermediate to advanced SQL techniquesBuild logic for de-duplication, grouping, time-based metrics, trend analysis, and date/time conversionsGoogle Sheets AutomationWork with operational data stored in Google Sheets, applying advanced formulas and structuringAutomate repetitive tasks using Apps Script or similar toolsData Engineering FoundationsIntegrate external systems through REST APIs, handling JSON data and authentication tokensNormalize unstructured SaaS data into clean analytics tablesRequired Skills:TechnicalStrong Power BI skills (DAX, modelling, relationships, Power Query)Intermediate to advanced SQL knowledge (joins, aggregations, window functions, transformation logic)Google Sheets expertise (advanced formulas, structuring)API integrations (JSON handling, endpoints, authentication)Automation tools (Make.com, Apps Script, Pipedream or similar)AnalyticalAbility to interpret real-world business datasetsStrong logical thinking and ability to design KPIsWe Offer:A dynamic and flexible work environment that fosters collaboration and innovation.
