Job Title: Senior Tax AssociateJob Description:Tax Compliance: We prepare and review U.S. federal and state tax returns (1065, 1120S, 1120) for contractors, subcontractors, and developers to ensure accurate financial reporting.Multi-State Apportionment: Our team performs multi-state apportionment analysis and nexus determination for construction entities operating across jurisdictions to mitigate tax risks.Percentage-of-Completion Method: We analyze percentage-of-completion (POC) and completed-contract methods for accurate tax treatment of complex construction projects.Depreciation Schedules: Our specialists handle depreciation schedules and Section 179/bonus depreciation related to heavy equipment and fixed assets to maximize tax benefits.Client Support: We assist in preparation of K-1s, tax basis calculations, and reconciliation of book-to-tax differences for construction clients to ensure seamless financial operations.Research and Communication: Our team communicates with U.S. engagement teams to resolve open items and clarify construction-specific tax positions to maintain high-quality client service.Key Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce is required.Certifications: A CPA, EA, or pursuing certification is a plus.Experience:Years of Experience: 3-8 years of experience in U.S. tax preparation, preferably for construction or real estate clients.Skillset: Strong understanding of construction entity structures, including LLCs, S-corps, and partnerships.
