DevOps Engineer

The DevOps Engineer will work closely with the IT, development, and security teams to streamline software deployment, automate infrastructure management, and enhance system reliability. This role requires expertise in CI/CD pipelines, containerization, cloud services, and infrastructure as code (IaC). The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying automation opportunities and optimizing cloud-native solutions ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCDImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, AWS SAM, etcDeploy, manage, and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud, OpenShift) with a focus on scalability, security, and performanceAssist in migrating and modernizing legacy applications by implementing microservices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)Assist in optimizing system performance by developing scalable architecture and auto-scaling strategiesAutomate operational tasks using shell-scripting, Python, Secure cloud environments by implementing best practices for identity and access management (IAM), key management (KMS), and API securityImplement observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, to ensure system health monitoring and alertingImplement centralized logging solutions for applications using tools such as OpenSearch, ELK stack, etcManage serverless services like AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or Google Cloud FunctionsCollaborate with developers to improve productivity by creating self-service automation tools for deployment and infrastructure provisioningEnsure compliance with DevOps security best practices, assist in vulnerability assessments, and automate security testing in pipelines (DevSecOps)Stay updated with the latest DevOps trends, tools, and cloud technologies, and continuously improve DevOps processesThe ideal candidate for the position should have the following skills and experience:Technical QualificationsExperience in DevOps Processes, setup and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, automation and CI/CDExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud, OpenShift) and cloud-native technologiesExperience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD)Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, AWS SAM)Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)Experience with Git workflows and branching strategiesExperience with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, OpenSearch, ELK stack)Experience in scripting and automation using Bash shell-scripting, Python, Knowledge of serverless computing (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions)Knowledge of cloud networking, DNS management (Route 53, Azure DNS), and API GatewayKnowledge of security best practices for DevOps and cloud infrastructureUnderstanding of cloud IAM policies and access control Personal SkillsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to quickly debug and resolve issuesEffective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teamsAdaptability and willingness to learn new technologies in a fast-evolving environmentAbility to work under pressure and troubleshoot critical production issuesTeam player with a proactive approach to improving processes and automation Education and Work Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
