The collective team competence built up in the two decades in the metro business renders us capable of delivering innovative, reliable, cost-competitive Project Management solutions adhering to the highest standards of safety and quality.We are seeking applications for the position of Chief Environment Health & Safety Engineer for PMC Service for Property Development & Miscellaneous Works in Southern Region.Missions/Main DutiesEHS LeadershipDevelop, implement, and manage the Project EHS Plan in line with local regulations, international standards (such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001), and client requirements.Lead and mentor the project's EHS team to ensure a consistent and proactive approach to safety and environmental management.Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure that all project activities comply with statutory EHS standards and industry best practices.Conduct regular EHS risk assessments, audits, and inspections across the project site.Identify hazards, evaluate risks, and develop mitigation strategies.Training & AwarenessOrganize and conduct EHS induction, training, and refresher sessions for all project staff, contractors, and site visitors.Promote a culture of safety through awareness campaigns, toolbox talks, and engagement activities.Incident ManagementOversee incident/accident reporting, investigation, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.Maintain records of incidents, near-misses, and track trends for ongoing improvement.Documentation & ReportingEnsure EHS documentation, permits, and regulatory reports are up-to-date and accurate.Prepare and present EHS performance reports, dashboards, and compliance updates for management and clients.Environmental ManagementSupervise environmental monitoring and ensure compliance with environmental management plans (EMPs).Coordinate waste management, pollution control, and sustainability initiatives as per project and legal requirements.Stakeholder CoordinationLiaise with local authorities, clients, contractors, and community representatives on EHS matters.Attend project meetings and represent EHS interests during project reviews and audits.Profile/SkillsMaster's degree in industrial safety.Graduate in Civil Engineering or Equivalent. & PG Diploma in industrial Safety.More than 15 years of experience.Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.We commit to put people who join us at the heart of improving transportation and urban infrastructure efficiency.
