Financial Operations ManagerThe role involves overseeing and managing core financial operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial reports.Key Responsibilities:Direct all aspects of billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, revenue recognition, and inventory accounting.Develop and maintain accurate estimates, invoices, credit memos, purchase orders, bills, vendor credits, and reconciliations for both vendor and customer accounts.Manage sales tax and royalty calculations, ensure timely tax filings, and document compliance with relevant regulations.Lead monthly financial closing processes, deliver accurate financial reports within defined timelines, and perform journal entries as required.Support external accounting firms for quarterly and annual tax filings, monitor company cash flow, and generate assigned financial reports.Provide financial guidance to leadership and coach junior staff on financial data analysis to support informed decision-making.Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with US federal and state regulations.Engage in ongoing learning pathways to maintain technical knowledge and uphold professional standards.Employ effective interpersonal skills to foster strong working relationships.RequirementsExpertise in QuickBooks Online and Google Suite.Strong understanding of US GAAP, federal & state tax regulations, and US compliance frameworks.Experience managing end-to-end accounting cycles, including AR/AP, GL, inventory, and financial reporting.Familiarity with restaurant/retail-style accounting structures (preferred).Benefits include a competitive compensation package, professional growth opportunities, and a dynamic work environment.
