Maa Reva Foods, a leading name in the B2B organic food industry, is committed to delivering premium heirloom organic products and forest herbs. We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Agriculture Field Officer to oversee the organic certification process and ensure compliance with organic farming standards across our farm and forest produce operations.
Roles & Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the entire organic certification process for our farm and forest produce, ensuring compliance with both national and international organic farming standards, including NPOP , USDA Organic , and EU Organic protocols.
Conduct regular farm inspections and audits to ensure adherence to organic farming principles, internal controls, and certification standards.
Work closely with farmers, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain, update, and manage certification records, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
Implement Internal Control Systems (ICS) for organic production and prepare all necessary ICS documents for farm audits, ensuring zero non-compliances (NCs).
Identify and onboard new farmers, facilitating farmer meetings, regular follow-ups, and resolving queries to convert non-organic farms to organic.
Provide training and technical support to farmers and field workers on organic farming practices, including soil management, crop production, and pest control using organic methods.
Assist farmers in implementing sustainable organic practices while overseeing harvesting, production, and ensuring timely dispatches according to company requirements.
Coordinate with external certification bodies for audits and inspections, preparing and submitting necessary reports to maintain certification status.
Conduct random checks of internal inspections, ensuring the accuracy of records and compliance with organic standards.
Stay updated on the latest regulations, certifications, and standards in the organic farming industry, ensuring our operations meet the most current requirements.
Schedule and maintain direct liaison with farmers to oversee purchasing based on quality and quantity specifications and manage logistics including rate negotiation and transportation.
Travel to different districts in Madhya Pradesh and liaise with certification agencies for approval and auditing processes.
Education and Skills: Bachelor's or Diploma in Agriculture or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in organic farming, certification, and agricultural commodities.
Strong knowledge of national and international organic certification standards (NPOP, USDA Organic, EU Organic).
Proficient in preparing and maintaining ICS documents, with hands-on experience in internal audits and compliance.
Comfortable with extensive travel to various project locations across India.
Excellent multitasking, organizational, and communication skills for managing farmer relationships and internal teams.
Salary & Benefits: Salary package: ₹1.8L – ₹2L CTC.
