Job Title: AKS Container Security EngineerWe are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AKS Container Security Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about cloud security and has hands-on experience with Kubernetes (AKS) and container security implementation.The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Kubernetes security fundamentals, including RBAC, Admission Controllers, Pod Security, and SCC equivalents. They will also be proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell, and have experience with CI/CD security tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.This role involves designing, deploying, and managing secure AKS clusters, enforcing security controls, and integrating with enterprise DevSecOps pipelines to ensure secure application delivery. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cloud, platform, and InfoSec teams to design, implement, and maintain secure AKS deployments aligned with compliance and governance standards.Key Responsibilities:Design, Deploy, and Manage Secure AKS Clusters: Develop and implement secure AKS cluster designs that adhere to Azure Well-Architected and CIS Kubernetes Benchmarks.Implement Container Security Policies: Use Azure Policy for Kubernetes, OPA Gatekeeper, or Kyverno to enforce security policies across the entire cluster.Integrate Azure Defender for Containers: Monitor vulnerabilities and runtime threats using Azure Defender for Containers.Manage Identity and Access: Implement least-privilege access management using Azure AD and Managed Identities within AKS.Configure Network Policies and Secrets Encryption: Configure NetworkPolicies, Pod Security Standards, and Secrets encryption within AKS.Required Skills and Qualifications:5+ Years of Experience: In Cloud Security, DevSecOps, or Container Platform Engineering.Hands-on Experience with AKS: 3+ years of managing and securing AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service).Kubernetes Security Fundamentals: Strong knowledge of RBAC, Admission Controllers, Pod Security, and SCC equivalents.Container Image Scanning and Vulnerability Remediation: Expertise in scanning and remediating vulnerabilities in container images.Benefits:Collaborative Work Environment: Join a collaborative team of experts who share your passion for cloud security.Professional Development Opportunities: Grow your skills and expertise through regular training and mentorship programs.Flexible Work Arrangements: Enjoy a flexible work arrangement that suits your needs.
