Primary Skills : 5 to 10yrs of Hadoop and HBase Administration,L2 Production Support, Unix
Must Have: Hadoop Cluster expert, Hadoop Eco systems like Hive, Hue, Zookeeper, HDFS, Yarn.
Secondary Skills : Unix Shell Scripting 

Role purpose Knowledge of Database Administration and Architecture. Administered Production Databases & have knowledge of different HA like House 1 and House 2. Knowledge of HBase, Hue and Hive. Knowledge of database operation task and administration, upgrade from older to latest versions, Cloudera Manager Monitoring Tool, Active Passive Cluster, Support Database Operations with working close to application teams, worked with ticketing tools, accomplish on call support for Database high priority issues, support HBase DML operations and performance tuning. Ensure availability and performance of All Production Databases. Manage Database Operations support along with performance tuning &Unix scripting. Advance knowledge at Server Level is mandated to handle jobs, batch process and modify existing processes recordsor create a new one accordingly. Work on incidents, service requests and change requests from the user departments, minimal introductory knowledge of database connection to middleware and other application tiers, worked with an international team.

Desired Profile To analyze performance bottlenecks. Identifying issues causing application-functionality slowness. Knowledge on Cloudera Manager, Hadoop cluster and Database Architecture. Monitor and Participate in Auditing and SOX Compliance activities. Profound knowledge of UNIX, Shell-Scripting and at least one scripting-language like have proficient application database support operations skillset with minimal 4 to 6yrs of experience. To Deliver, Develop environment support/maintenance scripts for atomization, BAU operational activities to smoothen, stabilize system. Telecom Knowledge would be added advantage. Professional Certifications like Cloudera Apache Kafka basic, Cloudera Essential administration would be preferred
