About the company:

Incommon is hiring on behalf of Skydo. Skydo is a fintech startup solving B2B cross-border payments. It enables Indian exporters to receive payments from their foreign clients in a cost-effective, compliant, and seamless way. Skydo launched in November 2022 and is scaling fast, with excellent customer satisfaction.

Skydo was founded by Srivatsan Sridhar and Movin Jain and is well-funded by leading venture capital funds, such as Elevation Capital and Better Capital.


Position Summary:

We are looking for a Payment Operations Lead with 2-4 years of experience to join us. This role will report to the Head of Operations and experience. As an early-stage startup, we expect the role to be broad-based and the candidate to be self-driven. The role will involve hands-on ownership of both execution and strategic workstreams.


Key Responsibilities:

💼 Execute payment processing and setup processes to achieve optimal TAT, accuracy process efficiency, and payment experience

💼 Support customer onboarding process (led by Sales) to collect documentation and resolve compliance queries where necessary; ensuring optimal onboarding TAT and experience

💼 Liaise with Skydo’s payment processing partners globally (Banks and fintechs) to ensure transaction processing is executed to plan; raise and resolve issues that come in the way of customer satisfaction. You will also maintain relationships with counterpart operations teams at Bank Partners.

💼 Lead strategic projects to continuously improve TATs, process efficiency, cost per transaction, and internal processes through automation, standardization and productization

💼 Setup analytical models and dashboards and problem-solve for achieving best in class metrics

💼 Coordinate with product, tech, compliance, and banking partnership teams to deliver operational excellence


Requirements:

💪 Min. 2 years, including hands-on experience building and scaling operations from scratch

💪 Discretion, diligence, and reliability in designing and executing processes

💪 Strong analytical orientation and business judgment to measure process quality, prioritize customer feedback, and suggest improvements to product, compliance, and sales teams

💪 Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders

💪 Proven leadership capabilities; ability to build and grow a skilled and inspired team as the business scales

💪 Hands-on experience with MS Excel, SQL, and BI/Dashboard tools for data analysis & visualization is mandatory.

💪 Tier 1/2 Engineering background; robust academic track record

💪 Strong ability to analyze data, understand trends, and draw actionable insights.
