As a key member of our accounting team, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in UK accounting practices while working remotely with small and medium-sized clients.Key Responsibilities:Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records and perform regular reconciliations.Payroll Management: Process payroll for directors and employees, ensuring timely payments and adherence to regulations.VAT Compliance: Prepare and submit VAT returns, handle VAT registrations, and ensure compliance with HMRC guidelines.Year-End Accounts and Tax: Prepare year-end accounts, file tax returns, and ensure corporation tax compliance.Personal Tax Returns: File personal tax returns accurately and within deadlines.Compliance Support: Provide support for confirmation statements, company changes, and other regulatory requirements.The ideal candidate will have a background in UK accounting or tax, knowledge of UK compliance, familiarity with cloud accounting software, and strong English communication skills.
